Check out Venture College ‘Garage’ Fall Programs

The Venture College challenges students to think like entrepreneurs. Registration is now open for several fall classes.

COID 297  Intro to the Startup Garage  (special topics section) 1 credit 

Great intro for any student from any major, no business idea required — the only prerequisite is curiosity.

1:30-2:20 p.m. Thursdays  in the College of Innovation and Design, second floor of the library

COID 320  The Startup Garage   3 credits

Apply design thinking and startup methods to your ideas. Open to all majors.

noon-2:45 p.m. Wednesdays  in the College of Innovation and Design, second floor of the library

COID 397  Advanced Startup Garage   (special topics section) 3 credits

Teams and individuals actively launch ideas. Features 1-1 mentoring, prep for funding and the best coaching available for the $100,000 Idaho Entrepreneur Challenge and other competitions.

noon-1:15 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays in the College of Innovation and Design, second floor of the library

Students are encouraged to register now and may add classes on myBoiseState.

Students who are graduating this spring are encouraged to check out the Venture College incubator program or take a Garage course for no credit.
