Suzie Kardong-Edgren, Joanna “Jody” DeMeyer Endowed Chair in Nursing, has been appointed the Research Advisor of the International Nursing Association of Clinical Simulation and Learning (INACSL) for the next two years.
In this capacity, Kardong-Edgren will oversee the work of the INACSL simulation standards committee, which publishes new and updated standards every two years. She will also manage the abstract reviews for all scientific content at the annual meeting; manage the committee that reviews all the mini-grant proposals for the society; and manage the committee that reviews all research posters for the annual meeting.
In her new role, Kardong-Edgren will also serve as a consultant to the Board of Directors providing leadership in research that will address gaps identified by the mission and vision of INACSL. She will identify funding opportunities for this research and will communicate the status of simulation research literature to the membership and the Board of Directors.
