I have been in nursing education for more than 30 years, and enjoy working with student through online classrooms, or in face to face classrooms. I have experience teaching all levels of nursing students. My current areas of teaching expertise include research and evidence based practice, ethics, and leadership. I’m a Georgia native, and currently reside in Georgia. My undergraduate degree is from the Medical College of Georgia (now Georgia Regents University); MSN is from the University of Alabama at Birmingham; and my PhD is from the University of Texas at Austin. I have two current research interests, and have active, ongoing research projects in these areas: research surrounding first patient care experiences for nursing students, as well as ethics and end of life care.
