OPWL Testimonial: Roberta Dombrowski, class of 2019

Roberta Dombrowski professional portrait

Product Manager at Pluralsight

Roberta is a 2019 Master of Science in Organizational Performance and Workplace Learning (OPWL) graduate and 2018 graduate of the WELPS certificate.

In 2016, Roberta was a full-time instructional design production assistant focusing on developing learning materials for instructor led training programs. She knew that she wanted to expand into the world of eLearning while also adding to her credentials and expertise. She chose the OPWL program because of its breadth and depth – it wasn’t a regular instructional design program but rather a mix of identifying performance gaps with a focus on digital learning. Additionally, the program was flexible and economical, allowing her to juggle her current full-time position.

After completing her WELPS certificate in 2018, Roberta joined Pluralsight as a Product Manager. In her role, Roberta is leading the research, strategy, and development efforts for the Role IQ digital learning product. Roberta absolutely attributes her time in the OPWL program for her being able to get the role – “I was hired for my position because of my expertise in digital learning and focus on solving problems, both of these things we’re strengthened during my time in the OPWL program.” At the end of 2018, Roberta was also recognized as one of Elliott Masie’s 30 under 30 award program for future leaders in the L&D community.
