Be Alert, Informed and Prepared with BroncoAlert

Storms, power outages, campus closures are just a few of the emergencies that can impact day-to-day life on a university campus. You may think that as an online student, an emergency on the main Boise State campus doesn’t impact you–but it can affect your classes in multiple ways.

A power outage will make some transactions difficult and others impossible. If a server is down, you might not be able to access your online class, turn in assignments, view grades or contact your instructor.

Luckily, the BroncoAlert system exists to notify you of emergencies that impact campus operations (like campus closures or power outages) and situations that pose a threat to someone’s well-being (such as extreme weather conditions, which may cause campus personnel to be unavailable during regularly scheduled hours).

Opting into the BroncoAlert System is easy; just follow the steps outlined on the public safety website.
