Residency

There are 4,689 total students in Boise State’s online programs; 1,806 of them are Idaho residents (39%) while 2,883 are from out of state (61%).

Enrollment Level

Boise State offers both graduate and undergraduate programs. Of the 4,689 total online students, 1,500 are enrolled in graduate programs while 3,189 are enrolled in undergraduate programs.

Areas of Study

Boise State offers 166 online programs; 33 are undergraduate-level, 28 are graduate-level and 105 are certificates.

They fall into 22 general areas of study including accountancy, applied science, business, cyber, early and special education, educational technology, health sciences, innovation and design, strategic communications, literacy, language and culture, project management, interdisciplinary professional studies, nursing, mathematics, online degree pathway, organizational performance and workplace learning, public health; public service, radiologic sciences, respiratory care, social work and computer science.

In the 22 areas of study, students can participate either at full- or part-time status.
