There are 3,856 total students in Boise State’s online programs, and 1,537 of them are Idaho residents (40%), while 2,319 are from out of state (60%).

Enrollment Level

Boise State offers both graduate and undergraduate programs, and of the 3,856 total online students, 1,415 are enrolled in graduate programs, while 2,441 students are enrolled in undergraduate programs.

Areas of Study

Boise State offers 108 online programs. Twenty-six are graduate-level, 24 are undergraduate-level and there are 58 certificates. They fall into 20 general areas of study including: Accountancy; Applied Science; Business; Cyber; Early and Special Education; Educational Technology; Health Sciences; Innovation and Design; Integrated Strategic Communications; Interdisciplinary Professional Studies; Literacy, Language, and Culture; Mathematics; Nursing; Online Degree Pathway; Organizational Performance and Workplace Learning; Public Health; Public Service; Radiologic Sciences; Respiratory Care; and Social Work.

In the twenty areas of study, students can participate either at full- or part-time status.

  • Interdisciplinary Professional Studies: 120 full-time, 50 part-time

There are 2,013 total unique ¾ to full-time students and 1,843 unique students attending half-time or less.
