Admissions Requirements
To be considered for the online Certificate in Interventional Radiology and Cardiology, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Applicant must have a minimum of an associate degree (AS/AAS) matriculated from a regionally accredited institution.
- Students need to have taken anatomy and physiology (BIOL 227 and 228) to be admitted into the certificate
- Proof of Medical Professional Credentials, if applicable
- Resume outlining patient care experience
- Must be currently employed in an interventional setting
- Acceptance into Boise State University

To Apply For This Program
Step 1 – Apply to Boise State University
Complete the Boise State Undergraduate Admissions Application. On the Degree Path page within the application, select “Interventional Radiology/Interventional Cardiology – Certificate” from the Select a Major drop-down list.

Step 2 – Request Official Transcripts
Request official transcript(s) from all previous colleges and universities you attended. If you have served in the military, please make sure to send your Joint Services Transcript and/or Community College of the Air Force transcript.
Please note: All transcripts must be RECEIVED by Undergraduate Admissions and Degree Services by the above application deadline.

Step 3 – Apply to the Online Advanced Medical Imaging Program
After submitting the undergraduate admission application (Step 1) and requesting your transcripts (Step 2), you will complete the Advanced Medical Imaging program application.
The program application includes:
- Proof of Medical Professional Credentials, if applicable
- Resume outlining patient care experience
