Family Orientation
If you’re a family member or parent of a first-year student preparing to attend Boise State, Family Orientation is for you. Browse through our Bronco Family Resources, and we hope to see you at an in-person family orientation!
If you’re a family member or parent of a transfer or non-traditional student preparing to attend Boise State, check out the Bronco Families website!
We know that family support can be vital to students’ success. You have entrusted us with someone precious to you and we look forward to joining forces in support of your student.
What can I expect at Orientation?
We aim to share information and help you anticipate what’s to come. At Orientation you can expect to:
- Learn about the student support opportunities you can expect
- Explore how you can support your student’s transition to college life
- Learn how to keep up with campus events, news, and information
- Connect with other Bronco families
Family Orientation may not be suitable for children or young teens. Registered guests are expected to attend the Family Orientation programming and do not stay overnight in residence halls.
Do you require accommodations to fully participate in orientation?
If you or your student need any accommodations for reading, seeing, hearing, language, mobility issues, or other disability-related needs to fully participate in the in-person orientation, please indicate that when your student signs up for orientation. If your situation has changed and you’ve already signed up for your orientation, please contact our office to update your orientation details.
