John Lampignano, MEd, RT(R)(CT)

Associate Professor, Department of Radiologic Sciences

John P. Lampignano earned his A.A.S.  in Radiologic Technology from GateWay Community College, his B.S. in Education from Weber State University, and his M.Ed. in Educational Technology from Arizona State University. He was awarded an ARRT credential in Radiography and Computed Tomography. John taught at GateWay Community College, Phoenix, Arizona in the Medical Imaging program for 35 years.  He performed radiography for Arizona State University Sports Medicine department for 10 years and the lead technologist for the Arizona Cardinal Football Club for 25 years.

Lampignano joined the Department of Radiologic Sciences in 2018 as a visiting scholar and was later promoted to Clinical Associate Professor. Courses taught include radiographic positioning, sectional anatomy, and radiation safety.
