Travis Armstrong, RT(R)

Clinical Instructor, Department of Radiologic Sciences

Travis Armstrong

Travis Armstrong returned to Boise State University in 2017 as a faculty member in the Radiologic Sciences program after earning his B.S. in Radiologic Sciences with a Management option from the same program in 2000.

Armstrong brings to the classroom considerable hands-on clinical experience having worked in a variety of radiology departments throughout the region.  Outside of working for over a decade combined at two major Boise hospitals, he has worked for a number of prestigious institutions to include the University of Washington Medical Center and the University of California, San Francisco Medical Center.  The expertise garnered through many years of experience in these various clinical settings allows Armstrong to provide context to the abstract ideas and concepts taught in the classroom.

In his free time Armstrong can often be found exploring Idaho’s backcountry on foot, mountain bike, or motorcycle.
