Carolina Valderrama Echavarria

Bio

I joined the faculty of the Sociology Department in 2014, after attending Boise State University to earn my M.A. in History and my B.A. in Sociology. Prior to my work in the department, I served a year as an AmeriCorps VISTA where upon completion, I enrolled at Cornell University to earn a graduate Certificate in Marketing Strategies. I am originally from Barranquilla, Colombia, and a proud alumnus from the same school that Shakira (the famous Colombian singer) attended. I am happy to be at my Alma matter teaching and advancing students academic learning in the sociological field.
