
The School of Public and Population Health’s DASH Lab was featured in the newest episode of BroncoTales — a College of Health Sciences podcast that touches on the innovative work being done by faculty and students.
Since its inception in 2023, the Data Analytics for Statewide Health Lab, has engaged more than 18 undergraduate and graduate students. These students have worked on five projects with the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare and St. Luke’s Health System.
The lab’s most recent projects have assed concussion data, food insecurity and mental health using Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System data provided by IDHW. Each semester, the students report back to these community organizations and also share their work at Boise State’s research showcases.
