Dr. Kirk Ketelsen is a Clinical Associate Professor in the School of Public and Population Health at Boise State University.  Ketelsen previously worked at Colorado State University as an Assistant Professor in the Statistics Department where he coordinated and taught statistics and research methods.

Ketelsen received his PhD in Applied Statistics and Research Methods from the University of Northern Colorado, where he also earned MS in Applied Statistics, MA in Neuropsychology, BS in Exercise and Sport Science and BS in Psychology.

With over 20 years of teaching experience, Ketelsen has taught at every level from kindergarten to advanced graduate-level students on a variety of topics. A member of the American Statistical Association (ASA) his areas of interests include statistics education, health promotion and education, visual analytics, working memory, TBI, hierarchical linear modeling and logistic regression, and he has worked as the primary analyst on several grants. Off campus, he enjoys spending time with his family, biking, playing sports and is an avid cook.
