Over the last year we’ve had to adapt to curve balls left and right, right? We’ve learned so much about ourselves and our resiliency and what it really means to be a Bronco. And since things have deviated from plans (more often than we would’ve liked) we’ve actually come out the other side stronger, more adaptable, and more creative in our solutions. This year, Bronco Welcome is no exception. We want to welcome new and returning Broncos back to campus in style. Here’s what you need to know about what’s going on this week.

1) Monday – Shortstack Shindig in the Quad

Jump-start the year with a free breakfast of orange and blue pancakes. Find us on the Quad from 8:30 – 10:30 a.m. where Boise State Alumni Association volunteers will serve you a Bronco Breakfast and welcome you back to school. There will also be an ice cream social later in the Quad from 11 a.m–1 p.m.

2) Tuesday – Transfer Students and Friends BBQ

Calling all transfer students! Love the feel of sand between your toes and a volleyball in your hands? Come celebrate the beginning of the semester. Free BBQ. New friends. Great times. All are welcome from 5–7 p.m. at the Lincoln Townhomes Patio.

3) Wednesday – Explore the World

Stop by the SMASH building at 11 a.m.–1 p.m. for international candy and to learn more about study abroad and other exchange opportunities.

4) Thursday – Welcome Week Job Fair

Are you interested in a part-time job or working on campus this semester? Come check out this fair at the Rec field from 10 a.m.–2 p.m.

5) Friday – Welcome BBQ

Join International Student Services at Julia Davis Park from 4–6 p.m. to have some fun, eat food, and meet other students. And bring your family and friends! We’ll be serving American style BBQ with vegetarian options.

5 ½) BONUS EVENT: Saturday – Outdoor Yoga

The perfect way to start your morning. Join us at 10 a.m. for a one hour outdoor yoga session at the Honors College.

This totally isn’t even the entire list of fun stuff you can attend this week. There’s so much more! Check out all of the events on the Bronco Welcome events page. Welcome back, Broncos!
