Late nights, cram sessions and the scramble to finish projects and papers – hello, finals week! Days away from summer break,  it’s easy to get caught up in the madness of finals week. Just don’t forget to breathe, sleep, and take a break or two with these Finals Relief ideas:

1) Snuggle some puppies

Get some puppy love from members of local therapy and service dog programs on the Quad, Monday—Thursday, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

2) Use those helpful resources

The library has extended hours, the Writing Center is open for appointments or drop ins, and the Advising and Academic Support Center is always here to help.

3) Center yourself

Take 10 or 15 minutes with the BroncoFit team for some Midday Mindfulness, Tuesday and Thursday at 1 p.m. These sessions – on Zoom, so you can join from anywhere – focus on deep breathing, centering and grounding. Exactly what we need in the middle of finals week.

4) Celebrate

Finish that last exam or hand in that last paper, then visit the Celebration Station on the Quad. Grab a prize and kick off your summer break, Monday—Thursday, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

If you’re not on campus to finish off the semester, celebrate virtually with us. Tag @getinvolvedbsu in your story video of you hitting submit to be entered into a gift card drawing. Multiple winners will be drawn each day.

5) Then celebrate some more

Commencement, the ultimate end-of-finals celebration, is Saturday, 10 a.m. on The Blue. If you can’t be there in person, it’ll be live streamed so you can celebrate virtually. Round of applause for all our Broncos getting those diplomas. You did it!

1/2) Thank a mom

Let’s not forget in all of the hustle that Sunday is Mothers Day. Write a note, maybe grab some flowers, and thank your mother/grandmother/godmother/mother-figure for the support they’ve given you this year.
