Office of Compliance and Ethics

The Office of Compliance and Ethics (OCE) oversees the university’s compliance program and its compliance with civil rights laws and Title IX. Our mission is to serve and collaborate with the Boise State community to inspire ethical behavior, create solutions for compliance challenges, and maintain a campus where every individual feels safe, respected, and supported.

The Office of Compliance and Ethics advances its mission by overseeing two areas of responsibility: University Compliance and Civil Rights & Title IX Compliance. These areas ensure the university’s compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies and serve as the central resource for processing and investigating complaints of discrimination and harassment.

Excessive Heat and Wildfire Smoke Guidance

Boise State’s summer youth programs are in full swing. As a reminder, extreme summer temperatures and poor air quality can compromise children’s health. Camps and clinics should understand the warning signs of heat stroke and exhaustion and develop plans to move programs and activities indoors.

Title II Rule on Digital Accessibility

The Department of Justice published a new rule on digital accessibility under Title II of the ADA. This rule will require the University’s web content, including academic course content, to comply by April 24, 2027.
