Undergraduate Research Showcase

The Undergraduate Research Showcase promises to be an exciting opportunity to share experiences common to all students. Each spring, undergraduates from all disciplines demonstrate what they have learned through their research work to students, faculty, field specialists, and community members in a scholarly setting. A unique educational and networking event, the conference encourages interdisciplinary exchange, bringing together students from all disciplines at Boise State University. Presentations include posters and 3-minute lightning talks of work in all academic disciplines, from art history to molecular biology. First held in 2003, the conference has grown to include more than 500 participants from all colleges at Boise State University.

Idaho Conference on Undergraduate Research (ICUR)

The Idaho Conference on Undergraduate Research (ICUR), the first of its kind in the state of Idaho, is a celebration showcasing the leading edge in all disciplines. A multifaceted, multicultural event every summer, the ICUR makes research accessible, interactive and fun! Undergraduate students of diverse backgrounds and disciplines gather to present the results of their original work in poster presentations to faculty, the public and their peers from across the country.  The conference also provides a forum for students, educators and the community to discuss cutting edge research topics and to examine the connection between research and education. The conference includes poster presentations by students from all academic disciplines, workshops for educators and students and invited guests.
