Grackle Workspace for Google Docs

Grackle Workspace is an accessibility tool available as an add-on for Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides.

Grackle Workspace uses automated checks, guided fixes, and easy conversions to review all aspects of your document to advise you on how to best meet accessibility compliance.

Getting started

All Boise State Google Workplace accounts have the Grackle Workspace add-on already installed. To get started, you must be logged into your Boise State Google Workspace for Employees account and have it set as the default account in your active web browser.

Using the Grackle add-on

1. Open or create a Google Doc, Sheets, or Slides in your Boise State Google Workspace account.
2. From the menu, select Extensions > Grackle Doc, Sheets, or Slides (depending on what document you’re in) > Launch.
3. If prompted, select Allow or Continue in the permissions window.
4. The Grackle add-on will open in the right sidebar and begin running an accessibility check.
