Biography

I am currently pursuing a PhD in Computing with an emphasis on Data Science at Boise State University. Before this, I was working as a Data Manager at Social and Economic Sciences Research Center (SESRC), Washington State University, WA, and as a Data Analyst at the University of Idaho, ID.

I have also graduated from Washington State University with a Masters’ of Science in Statistics. As a first author, I have also published a book chapter in February 2014 from springer publications (https://link.springer.com/chapter/10.1007/978-94-017-8642-3_4) along with my other publications. After these publications, my interest in research gets increased, and pursuing higher education; I joined WSU for earning my Masters’ degree. After that, I realized, my main interest is in Data Science. Thus, my search for PhD in Data Science at a good university began. After a while, I found out Boise State University, where I met Dr. Jodi Mead who showed me the light so that I could follow my dream.

Currently, I am working on tensor, inversion, tensor Neural Network, and deep Neural Network. My current research emphasizes parameter estimation to recover images in a nonlinear system from an incomplete data set. This research involves parameter estimation for geophysical inverse problems. These methods and tools that I am developing will be useful for practitioners to design methods of data collection that substantially advance knowledge in many fields of study.
