SAHS Award for Exceptional Vision and Leadership
The School of Allied Health Sciences Award for Exceptional Vision and Leadership is awarded by the School Director, Dr. Bob Wood, to recognize individuals who have gone above and beyond to demonstrate outstanding vision and leadership. These awards are rare and given at the Director’s discretion.

Spotlight Awards
Each year, the School of Allied Health recognizes one individual in each department who has demonstrated outstanding achievement in teaching, scholarship or service. The nomination of candidates is largely based on the subjective appraisal of the candidate’s department head. Nominees are vetted through the School of Allied Health Sciences Executive Committee, and ultimately awarded by the Director of the School of Allied Health Sciences.

This award was created as an extension of our Spotlight Awards intended to acknowledge staff specifically. Nominees are vetted through the School of Allied Health Sciences Executive Committee, and ultimately awarded by the Director of the School of Allied Health Sciences.

Friends of SAHS Award
The Friends of SAHS Award was created to recognize individuals outside of our school who have also left an imprint on our school community and their success. This could be a Boise State employee, alumni, clinical supervisor, donor, etc. Nominees are made and vetted through the School of Allied Health Sciences Executive Committee, and ultimately awarded by the Director of the School of Allied Health Sciences up to twice a year.
