2023 was an exciting year for the Biomedical Engineering PhD program at Boise State University. The program continues to grow and we achieved a huge accomplishment: our first graduate, Derek Nesbitt!
2023 Highlights
- The BME program welcomed 5 new students to the program
- Derek Nesbitt graduated this year, becoming the program’s first graduate
- Three students completed their dissertation proposals
- Seven students completed their comprehensive exams
- BME students received several awards, including four at Boise State’s Graduate Student Showcase
