On Tuesday, April 9th, Michael Okebiorun successfully defended his dissertation thesis, titled “Selective Bacterial Biofilm Removal Using Image-Guided Detection and Cold Atmospheric Pressure Plasma”. Okebiorun has spent his time in the Biomedical Engineering Ph.D. program working with Dr. Jim Browning.
Michael Okebiorun is an acclaimed Biomedical Engineer with a BSc in Electrical Engineering and an MSc from the University of Lagos. He received the Presidential Scholar Award for his PhD research at Boise State University (2022). Currently, he oversees vestibular and audiology lab engineering activities under Mass General Brigham.
