    Kenzie Sorrells, MS

    Director of BroncoFit

    McKenzie obtained her B.S. in Kinesiology at Boise State University and her M.S. in Health Education at The University of Utah. McKenzie is a Certified Health Education Specialist, Exercise Physiologist, and National Board Health and Wellness Coach. As the Director of BroncoFit/ Wellness, McKenzie develops and oversees integrated and comprehensive wellness programming for Boise State’s community. McKenzie’s favorite aspect of her job is creating well-being programs that are holistic and impactful to students, faculty, and staff. In her spare time McKenzie enjoys hiking, listening to podcasts, paddle-boarding and eating yummy food.

    Delainey Jones, RDN, LD

    Health Educator

    Delainey is a Registered Dietitian who attended Idaho State University’s dietetic internship, focusing on community nutrition. She earned her B.S. in Nutrition from California Polytechnic State University.

    As a Health Educator with the BroncoFit team, Delainey focuses on programming related to nutrition education, food insecurity, the campus garden, and student basic needs. In her free time, she enjoys hiking with her dogs, gardening, and baking sourdough!

    Elizabeth Bricker, CHES

    Health Educator

    Elizabeth is a Certified Health Education Specialist who is proud to call Boise State her alma mater. She started working for BroncoFit as a Peer Health Educator and has enjoyed serving the campus population in a full time capacity. As a Health Educator for BroncoFit she focuses on alcohol and other drug programming as well as healthy relationships, amongst other topics. She has a passion for college students and believes that providing a health and wellbeing touchpoint for students is key to their success in college. As a native Oregonian, she enjoys spending time outdoors and going on road trips to experience all the beauty that Idaho has to offer.

    Health Educator

    Hannah received her Bachelor of Science in Public Health and is currently in the Boise State Masters of Public Health program studying Prevention and Intervention Programming. She is passionate about creating communities in which all people can thrive and is excited to work to help campus members explore ways they can live happy and healthy lives. Hannah’s areas of interest include sexual health, preventing gender based violence and community engagement. Outside of work Hannah enjoys reading, spending time outdoors and watching the latest TV shows and movies.

    Hannah received her Bachelor of Science in Public Health and is currently in the Boise State Masters of Public Health program studying Prevention and Intervention Programming.     Anita Suljic

    Graduate Assistant

    Anita is earning her Master’s Degree in Public Health with an emphasis in Systems Analysis and Innovation with plans to graduate in May of 2024. She also earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Health Studies at Boise State University in December of 2021. Anita has been with BroncoFit the last two years as a Peer Health Educator and is excited to continue her time with the team as a Graduate Assistant. She has a passion for helping others and enjoys being a part of a community here on campus that provides support, positivity, and education to students. Outside of work, Anita enjoys running, testing out different coffee shops, and spending quality time with friends and family.

Outside of work Kenzie enjoys mountain biking the endless trails her hometown has to offer and being active with her energetic border collie, Luna.

    Sarah Green

    Graduate Assistant

    Sarah is working on her master’s degree in Public Health.  Her focus is Prevention and Intervention Programming.  She earned her undergraduate degree in nursing from James Madison University.  Sarah has worked as an RN for many years in various hospital, community and classroom settings. She has had a lifelong passion for preventive health, wellness and mindfulness.  In her free time, Sarah loves to read, practice yoga and run in the Boise foothills.

Peer Health Educators

Our peer educators work across campus to make our students healthier and get hands-on experience with program planning, implementation and evaluation. They come from a variety of backgrounds and are some of the highest-paid student employees on campus with the opportunity for internship credit!     Promotions Coordinator

    Cara received her Bachelor in Fine Arts with an emphasis in Graphic Design from Boise State University in 2014.  During her sophomore year, she became a promotions intern at University Health Services and has been a part of the promotions and marketing team ever since. Cara is responsible for the graphic design and promotion of all items housed under University Health Services, including BroncoFit. Her favorite part of the job is the opportunity to be creative and work on a variety of projects daily. In her spare time, she enjoys walking her dog, cooking, and thrift shopping.
