The Growing Number of B Corps in Idaho

On January 26, the Responsible Business Initiative, in partnership with the Idaho Small Business Development Center, hosted a workshop for local Boise businesses and Boise State students to gain hands-on experience using the B Corp Impact Assessment Survey. More than 30 people participated, representing approximately 12 different local companies.

Boise’s local B Corporation community collaborated to teach participants how to assess, compare, and implement strategic and operational changes in their businesses to have economic, social and environmental impacts. The Responsible Business Initiative is working to support and encourage the effort to double the number of B Corps in Idaho in 2015.
