About the Team

  • Kodi Romero, MHS

    Director

Kodi Romero is a purpose-driven professional with a passion for advancing social and environmental causes. Leveraging her expertise in complex change management, facilitation, and collaboration, Kodi builds high-trust, diverse, and inclusive teams to develop innovative solutions to complex problems.

Kodi holds a Master of Health Sciences, Health Service Leadership degree from Boise State University, a Bachelor of Science and minor in Business Administration from Colorado State University, and a certificate in negotiation and influence from UC Berkeley.

Notable professional accomplishments include raising the level of impact of the annual DEI Summit, including doubling the number of attendees and seeing more than a 130% increase in both sponsorship and total revenue dollars. Kodi was also instrumental in launching Boise State’s first-ever crisis housing programs for students experiencing short-term housing insecurity, and stewarding the inaugural sustainability report for the College of Health Sciences, and managing three college reports.

Kodi has an eye for strategy, with a keen ability to find the thread between seemingly complex, disconnected, and messy projects or situations. Her naturally curious mindset has helped her foster meaningful and authentic partnerships and build bridges that result in successful collaborations with a diverse array of stakeholders. She firmly believes in the power of relationships, collective impact, and negotiating across differences to align efforts toward a shared vision.

In her free time, you can find her searching for high-alpine lakes and mountain views while boondocking and getting cozy in their teardrop trailer with her husband, two-year-old daughter, and German Shepherd.
