The Idaho Occupational Safety and Health Consultation (OSHCon) program, in the Center for Excellence in Environmental Health and Safety, has joined the 12th and Idaho project. This project will oversee the upcoming construction of the tallest residential facility in Idaho, a 26-story mixed-use building in downtown Boise that will include 298 residences, ground floor retail space, and a structured parking facility. OSHCon joins this strategic partnership along with Power Construction, the Southwest Regional Council of Carpenters, and Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) Idaho, in order to keep workers safe during construction. OSCHon will be assisting construction companies with hazard identifications, program reviews, ergonomic assessments, and industrial hygiene sampling. Read more about the 12th and Idaho project here.
