Research on wildfire smoke infiltration in nursing homes and assisted living facilities featured on Boise State Public Radio

Dr. Luke Montrose, Assistant Professor of Environmental and Radiological Health Sciences at Colorado State University and collaborator with the Center for Excellence in Environmental Health and Safety, has been leading a project since 2020 to investigate whether and how wildfire smoke infiltrates inside, impacting indoor air quality, at nursing homes and assisted living facilities in Idaho. The current state of his research and collaborations, along with next steps, was featured on Boise State Public Radio, a member of National Public Radio (NPR).
