Student Awarded National Institute of Health Scholarship

Undergraduate biology major Julie Wagner (Cornell Lab) received a prestigious National Institute of Health (NIH) Undergraduate Scholarship Program award.  This major scholarship pays up to $20,000 per year in scholarship support and allows for the student to travel to NIH headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland, to conduct research with some of the country’s best medical scientists.  Award recipients must have exceptional grade point averages and demonstrate financial need.  Julie intends to pursue a postdoc appointment at NIH upon completion of graduate school, and eventually obtain a full time position with NIH.  Congratulations to Julie Wagner!
