A Trailblazer in Academic Research

With his recent $10 million, five-year award from The Schmidt Foundation Virtual Institute on Feedstocks of the Future (VIFF), Owen McDougal is being heralded as a trailblazer in the realm of academic research. As the Director of the Food and Dairy Innovation Center, a Principal Investigator for National Science Foundation Convergence Accelerator Phase 2, Track J, Food and Nutrition Security, and advisory Board Member for the Western Dairy Center, Professor McDougal has been the recipient of multiple research grants and awards.
