John Martin has over 30 years of federal service with the Department of Interiors Bureau of Land Management and Minerals Management Service and the Department of Agriculture. Since joining Boise State in 2000, he has taught economics. Before coming to Boise, John taught business and economics in both California and Nevada community colleges.

John enjoys going to sporting events at Boise State, in particular, the football games on the Blue, and working with young people (or at least those young at heart) in their pursuit of academic excellence.
