Dr. Ribas joined Boise State University in 2021. His research explores firm creation and growth, education and social mobility, illicit markets, and how individuals perceive and respond to public policies. Current projects examine the cultural determinants of business practices and productivity, the economic responses to fear of rare events, and the relationship between labor shortages and housing affordability.
