Tracie joined COBE in 2016, and teach Supply Chain and Business Statistics courses. She is passionate about interactive learning, and am always on the look-out for ways to actively engage students in the learning process. Before joining COBE, she taught at the University of Idaho from 2007 to 2015.

In addition to teaching, Tracie serves as a Digital Faculty Consultant (DFC) and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for McGraw-Hill Education in Operations Management, Business Statistics, and Project Management. As a SME, she’s edited and created end-of-chapter problems and test bank items, and developed learning objectives and probes for the SmartBook version of multiple textbooks.  As a DFC, she works with faculty who are interested in learning more about the Connect platform. Tracie is also the editor of McGraw-Hill’s OM in the News blog (OMintheNews.com) and works with a team of faculty bloggers who write about how current events affect operations management and vice versa.

Prior workplace adventures include ten years in Hewlett-Packard Company’s supply chain organization; a year with the IT division of an aerospace company; and three years in Operations with a telecom. At various times, she has earned an undergraduate in Russian Studies from Amherst College, an MBA from Arizona State, and a Master of International Management from Thunderbird.
