Matthew J. Castel is an assistant professor with the Department of Information Technology and Supply Chain Management. He joins Boise State University after receiving his Ph.D. in business administration with a focus on operations and sourcing management and marketing from Michigan State University’s Eli Broad School of Business, where he also received a master of science in manufacturing and engineering management. Castel also earned a bachelor of science in electrical engineering from Michigan State’s College of Engineering. Castel is a member of the Decision Sciences Institute (SI), INFORMS, and the Production and Operations Management Society (POMS), and he was an ad-hoc reviewer for the Decision Sciences Journal.
