Michael Ekstrand, an associate professor of computer science, was featured in the “Teaching Newsletter” published by The Chronicle of Higher Education. The newsletter cites Ekstrand’s approach to accepting late assignments, giving students a number of passes each term that can be used for extensions, as “particularly intriguing.”
