Curriculum changes can bring about challenges during the transition. The Boise State registration system has encountered a glitch in matching pre-2020 catalog course numbers to new courses where they should count as prerequisites. The Registrar’s Office is working to correct the problem. Meanwhile, students are receiving notices that they will need permission numbers to register for certain classes.
If you get such a notice, please send an email to AdviseME@boisestate.edu with the following:

- Your name
- Your student ID number
- The course name and number for which you are requesting the permission number
- Pertinent information about the prerequisite course that is not being applied or other helpful information
