Research Project: Biomechanics of Joint Injury and Healing

Job Description

The Northwest Tissue Mechanics (NTM) Laboratory is seeking motivated individual(s) to support research projects that are investigating knee injury and healing. General duties will include device design, mechanical testing, three-dimensional imaging and modeling, and data analysis. An excellent candidate will currently be at least a Sophomore in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Material Science & Engineering (or another related field) that is hard-working, well organized, and interested in biomechanics. Competency in the following areas is desired, but not required: mechatronics, biology, computer programming, and SolidWorks. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in research and engineering.
