25 Years of Engineering Excellence
College of Engineering celebrates 25 years of serving students, community
For more than a quarter century, the College of Engineering at Boise State University, behind the support of the Idaho State Board of Education, industry leaders, and supporters from across the state and region, has emerged as the state’s largest and top-ranked engineering program in the state. Today, the college is home to over 2600 students enrolled in engineering, computer science, and construction management degree programs.
July 1, 2022, now known in Idaho as the Boise State University College of Engineering Day, marked the 25th anniversary of the college’s creation in 1997. The date celebrates the trailblazing and innovative history, culture, and progress the college has made through an ‘unshakeable focus on learning’ where we empower all to think critically and solve our world’s complex challenges.
25th Anniversary Kickoff & Open House
On July 21st, 2022, the College of Engineering kicked-off the 25th anniversary year celebrations with faculty, staff, students, alumni, donors and friends in the new Micron Center for Materials Research building.
