Biography
I am a CMSE student working with Dr. Michal Kopera. My research focuses on developing deep reinforcement learning techniques for adaptive mesh refinement, exploring how machine learning can optimize computational grids for more efficient numerical simulations.
My broader mathematical interests include differential geometry, numerical differential geometry, numerical methods for PDEs, and machine learning applications to scientific computing. My graduate research is supported by the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship. I am a Boise native who spends great deal of my free time trail running in the mountains.
