Advising your way to college

Bronco Navigate

Welcome to the Bronco Navigate advising page! Consider our Advising Pathways or additional advising support to get a head start on your college career.

The Boise State Concurrent Enrollment Program is excited to launch their new and improved Bronco Navigate: Advising your Way to College. Bronco Navigate is a great way for students interested in getting a head start on college.

While we no longer are offering our associate degree advising pathway, depending on your goals we have two great advising pathways: 15 to Start for students attending our partnering rural schools and 30 to Start for our larger and more urban partner schools. This change allows our team to support students in career exploration and strategic degree planning focused on achieving appropriate general education requirements leading towards their final degree choice. These advising pathways are more balanced and allow students to focus on their high school experience, extracurricular activities, volunteer and/or job opportunities ensuring a well-rounded student when they apply for scholarships.

The student’s academic advisor will work with each student individually to create a custom degree plan, to ensure that dual credit courses are intentionally selected to support the future goals of the student. These pathways are not limited to 15 or 30 credits, but it’s important to understand that not all courses will apply to every major even if an associate degree is attained. The 15 to Start and 30 to Start Advising Pathways support a strategic focus on selecting courses that support the student’s future academic and career goals.

Advising Pathways

Start your college career by earning 15 credits (equal to one semester of college) or 30 credits (equal to one year of college) through the Concurrent Enrollment Program Advising Pathways.
