Shea has worked with Adult Protective Services for 9 years.  Before starting his job with the Area Agency on Aging he had never even heard of Adult Protective Services and has tried to educate as many people as he can about what Adult Protective Services is and does.

Shea graduated with an Associates of Arts and Sciences from Ricks College (now BYU-Idaho), a Bachelor of Science degree from Idaho State University with a secondary education teaching certificate and Master of Public Administration degree from Idaho State University.

Shea has worked in the mental health field and was a Social Services Director at a skilled nursing facility and was a police officer for 11 years.
