Bonnie Kenaley

Bonnie Kenaley is an Associate Professor of Social Work at Boise State University. After a thirty-year career as a registered nurse, she earned her MSW and PhD from the University at Albany at the State University of New York.  She is a licensed master level social worker.

Her primary research interests include the study of mental health interventions for older adults, the use of telehealth technology for homebound elders, and the examination of the trajectories and determinants of successful aging in older adults. She is also interested in creating an age-friendly university program that fosters the academic, health, and social well-being of students and faculty of all ages as well as the interaction and collaboration between the university and the community’s aging population.  Bonnie has presented her research both nationally and internationally and numerous published articles.
