AlcoholEdu and Sexual Assault Training

Welcome to Boise State!

Now that you’re a Bronco, we have two online courses to make sure you’re safe and successful on campus.

All incoming students under the age of 21 are required to complete AlcoholEdu and Sexual Assault Prevention. If you haven’t completed both of these courses by the deadline specified in your notification email, you’ll have a HOLD placed on your account and you won’t be able to register for future classes. (Scroll down for more information about HOLDS).

Each course takes about 2 to 2.5 hours. You can work at your own pace from any computer with Google Chrome or Firefox with a Flash player. You can leave and return at any time to the page where you left off. These courses will help you be a healthy, responsible Bronco who lives our Shared Values.

What if I don't feel the information in this program is useful to me?

However, the program also covers campus policies and resources from which all students can benefit, including by-stander intervention strategies students can use to assist friends who may be engaging in concerning behavior.

I completed a similar program at another school; do I still have to complete AlcoholEdu?

  • While Boise State understands that transfer students may have completed similar programs at other universities, Boise State has no way to verify this. Boise State also has its own policies and campus resources that all students should know. It’s for these reasons you’ll still need to complete the program.
