Alumni Engagement Initiative

Our alumni engagement initiative recognizes that students need real world relevant educational experiences; who better to help inform and direct those experiences than our thriving alumni? Our priority is to be a future-facing major that prepares students for their opportunities. We endeavor to create relationships, build skills, share knowledge, solve problems, encourage excellence and send over 130 majors a year into a professional world that knows the value of a Communication degree from Boise State University.

WHAT IS THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNICATION ALUMNI ENGAGEMENT INITIATIVE?

Our alumni engagement initiative seeks to celebrate and partner with our community of graduates. We invite alumni to reconnect with the program and find ways to enjoy and contribute to the Boise State communication major reputation of excellence. Whether it’s attending one of our annual events, visiting a class to talk about your professional experiences, or becoming part of our mentoring or internship program, students and faculty would love to have you involved.
