Message from the Chief Operating Officer

The Division of Operations and Enterprise Services is more than a collection of operational units; we are a strategic and implementation partner, helping turn Boise State’s vision into reality. We work alongside colleges and administrative units to solve complex challenges, connect people and systems, and build the operational and enterprise capabilities that enable the university to thrive.

Our work is technical, but our purpose is simple: advancing the mission of Boise State.

Maintaining an HVAC system means creating classrooms where students can focus and faculty can teach. Protecting our technology and data enables learning, research, and collaboration. Supporting our workforce helps employees do their best work. Maintaining our campus, planning and delivering capital projects, advancing laboratory safety, guiding complex institutional initiatives, and keeping our community safe all contribute to a common purpose: removing barriers so others can achieve their goals.

Every member of our division contributes to Boise State’s mission and strategic plan. Whether solving today’s operational challenges or preparing for tomorrow’s opportunities, we combine technical expertise with thoughtful partnership to transform institutional priorities into meaningful outcomes.
