Minor in Geospatial Information Analysis

A minor in Geographic Information Science (GIS) is designed for students interested in spatial analysis and digital map-making techniques that are useful across multiple disciplines. GIS has broad applications, from land-use planning and environmental management to epidemiology through law enforcement. This minor will improve marketability when entering the workforce. The minor equips students to apply geospatial technologies towards solving problems with spatial elements.
