    Greg Martinez is the Director for the Center for Multicultural and Educational Opportunities (CMEO) located in the College of Education at Boise State University. He has been working with TRIO programs for 33 years and has been a TRIO Director since 1995. He has been writing TRIO Student Support Service (SSS) grants since 1993. In 2003, he was awarded his first McNair grant, and received a new SSS Teacher Preparation grant in 2015. In 2020 he was awarded three new SSS grants serving students who are in STEM fields, Veterans, and students with disabilities. Throughout the years he has also taught numerous courses in Education and Mathematics. He has a BA degree in Geosciences from Humboldt State University in California and two MA degrees in Education from Boise State University, one in Curriculum and Instruction and the other in Literacy.
