College Programs

CMEO’s college programs serve college students who are first-generation, financially-limited, or have a documented disability. These programs provide eligible students with academic support during their process of earning a bachelor’s degree, while also providing them with opportunities to participate in group and community activities with their fellow students.

College Programs at Boise State

College Assistance Migrant Program

The College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) assists students who are migratory or seasonal farmworkers (or children of such workers) enrolled in their first year of undergraduate studies at Boise State University. The program supports completion of the first year of studies. Services include counseling, tutoring, skills workshops, financial aid stipends, health services, and housing assistance to eligible students during their first year of college.

TRIO Academic Coaching and Educational Support

TRIO Academic Coaching and Educational Support (ACES) is a Student Support Services (SSS) program that serves Boise State undergraduate students who have a disability. TRIO ACES encourages and supports students to pursue and attain an undergraduate degree by offering individualized services to successfully guide students through their academic goals towards graduation. Services include tutoring, academic coaching, financial aid support, and advocacy support for disability services.

TRIO Rising Scholars

TRIO Rising Scholars is a Student Support Services (SSS) program that serves undergraduate students who are first-generation, financially-limited, or have a disability and who are pursing a degree in a Humanities or Business field. Services include tutoring, one-on-one advising, academic development skills training, career and major exploration, financial aid assistance, and social and cultural opportunities.

TRIO STEM Scholars

TRIO STEM Scholars is a Student Support Services (SSS) program that serves undergraduate students who are first-generation, financially-limited, or have a disability and who are pursing a degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) field. Services include tutoring, one-on-one advising, academic development skills training, career and major exploration, financial aid assistance, and social and cultural opportunities.

TRIO Teacher Preparation is a Student Support Services (SSS) program that serves undergraduate students who are first-generation, financially-limited, or have a disability and who are pursing a degree in Education. Services include tutoring, one-on-one advising, academic development skills training, career and major exploration, financial aid assistance, and social and cultural opportunities.

TRIO Veterans SSS

TRIO Veterans SSS is a Student Support Services (SSS) program that provides academic support, assistance, and encouragement to Veteran students who are first-generation, financially-limited, or who have a disability. Services include tutoring, one-on-one advising, academic development skills training, career and major exploration, financial aid assistance, and social and cultural opportunities.

McNair Scholars Program

The McNair Scholars Program is an academic achievement and graduate school preparatory program for undergraduate students who are first-generation and financially-limited, and/or underrepresented in graduate programs. The program prepares students for graduate studies through scholarly enrichment, exposure to research, and other academic experiences and opportunities. The McNair Program serves undergraduate students who are in the final two years of their bachelor’s degree program.
