Master of Educational Technology

The Master of Educational Technology is our professional degree, focusing on skills for improved performance at all levels of education, in the classroom and beyond. This program is perfect for going onto our Ed.D. program and does not require GREs for admittance.

Course work focuses on theoretical foundations, hands-on technology skills, and integration strategies for today’s learning environments. All M.E.T. students will complete a portfolio as their Culminating Activity.

The M.E.T. degree courses can apply to a doctorate if you are accepted into that program at a later date. No GRE scores are required. The final M.E.T. culminating activity is a Portfolio project showcasing all work completed in previous classes.

What can I do with this degree?

Graduates from the Master in Educational Technology program are prepared to design, develop, implement, and advise educational technology programs in diverse face-to-face and online educational settings. Some work in K-12 schools where they integrate technology in their classrooms, mentor peers, or serve as technology coordinators. Others work as faculty in higher education, instructional designers, librarians, or educational administration.

Estimated Costs

Starting in Fall 2019, the cost per credit is $478. Students need to complete 33 credits, so the cost for the program is $15,774 (maximum).
