Aim 2d

Goal: To identify which indicators discriminate between students with high and low program effects

Hypothesis: Students who experience PA effects in one area will experience PA effects in other areas as well.

To test this hypothesis, variables will be established that represent distal outcome growth. Each variable will contain the level of growth for each student in observed variables and in single factor constructs. Once these variables have been established, Latent Class Analysis will be used on subsets of variables to record their performance in grouping students by their measured and/or expressed outcome growth. Results from these LCA models will demonstrate whether PA effects cluster student by outcomes or if the student outcomes effected by PA are more related to individual students than to students in general.
