What is TRIO Academic Coaching and Educational Support?
TRIO Academic Coaching and Educational Support (ACES) is designed to support 100 students with diagnosed conditions that create a barrier in the academic environment. A portion of students enrolled in the program must be low-income. The services offered in the program include: academic coaching, advising, tutoring, career counseling, peer mentoring, grant aid, as well as help with Financial Aid and financial literacy. Students will receive comprehensive services, have a deeper connection with their academic journey, and receive the support they need to stay in school. The various components of the individualized services offered by the program will help students overcome many of the academic barriers that prevent them from being successful. Throughout their time in the program, students will be inspired by other TRIO ACES students who share their own stories of success and will come to realize that they, too, can achieve their goals.
